Minor Requirements

The minor in computer science requires the completion of at least 18 credits in CIS/CSE courses with an overall grade point average of at least 2.5, and with no individual course grade below C-.

These 18 hours must include:

• CIS 151 - Fundamentals of Computing and Programming
• CIS 252 - Elements of Computer Science
• CIS 375 - Introduction to Discrete Mathematics
• CIS 351 - Data Structures

Additional Information

• CIS 321 may not be used towards the computer science minor.
• Students who take CPS 196 and earn a B- or higher may petition to have it replace CIS 151 in the minor.
